The Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon’s information point located inside the Maison Nature & Patrimoines in Castellane is the northern gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon. Facing the Alps, you will discover here two artificial lakes, Chaudanne and Castillon both regulating Verdon’s flow, as well as enormous rocky ledges along which are  Mourre de Chanier, the hieghest peak of Verdon, and also the well-known Cadières de Brandis, strange rock formations that split above Castellane…
