Occupying the territory situated between the Alpes de Haute Provence and the Var departments, the Réserve Naturelle Géologique de Haute Provence protects and extends the value of the geological sites, fossils, and folded and broken mountain landscapes of the Alpine massif. It contributes to better public awareness of the history of the Earth, providing the key to its better understanding and promoting a better living environment for everyone.

School groups and recreational centers
Exhibit spaces, museum pieces and educational kits serve as information carriers helping children build their knowledge and discover the heritage of Verdon.
We offer teachers many possibilities to imagine various educational projects with the help of our facilitation team. We propose a wide range of themes related to our temporary exhibitions as well as to the geology of the area, the heritage of the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, etc.
Workshops for children
In July and August, on Thursday mornings, 10 a.m. till 12 p.m., we offer workshops for children, – a fun and entertaining way to discover, based on learning a practice or a skill.
